8.  Listed in Who's Who in Education

9.  Listed in Who's Who in Black America

10.  Elected Valiant Woman at Ebenezer United Methodist Church

11.  Taught at Liberty City Elementary in 1939

12.  Taught at R.R. Moton Elementary in Perrine

13.  Was District Reading Teacher, chaired the Reading Mobile Unit

14.  Was principal of Pine Villa Elementary

15.  Received the Lifetime Achievement Award  from the King of Clubs of Greater Miami

16.  Chosen to open the only Solar Energy School in the Southeast

17.  Integrated Dade County Public Schools on the Administrative Level

18.  Founder and first president of the Egeiloc Civic and Social Club, Inc.(Presents 11th grade male students to the community and gives scholarships)

19.  Chairperson for the Illiteracy Committee of Retired Teachers Association

20.  Nominated for 1990 Florida Area - Soror of the Year Award by Gamma Delta Chapter

21.  Nominated for the Whitney M. Young Humanitarian Award

22.  Recognized by the Black Archives for over 50 years as a member of Ebenezer Methodist Church

23.  Opened and was principal of Gloria Floyd Elementary

24.  Received her B.A. Degree at Shaw University, in Raleigh, N.C.

25.  Received her Master's Degree at New York University

26.  Pursued Advanced Studies as Barry University and Florida Atlantic University
